You can also choose the type of redwood and whether or not the bench will have a
shelf under it. Dimensions are in inches-decimal, not fractions.

Bench Specifications
Bench tops are made from 1 1/2" to 2" stock, depending on width.
Legs are made from 1 1/2" for small benches, going up to 2" for larger benches.
Bench top overhang is 1". You can specify differently (even going to zero
overhang) in Special Instructions on the Order page.
The optional shelf is made from 3/4" stock. On larger sizes, it is reinforced
with support underneath the center.
A bench with raised ends and a shelf will look like bench example 1, except that the
example has book dividers. You may specify that on the order page.
An outdoor bench will look like bench example 2. Outdoor benches cannot have a shelf,
raised ends, or use old-growth material.
Indoor benches are varnished, outdoor benches are treated with a weatherproof sealer.
